Jo Adams has been involved in racing since 1979 when she
was introduced to renowned trainer Theo Green at his Clear Day stables
in Randwick, Sydney.
No family background in racing didn’t make any
difference; she was hooked fair and square from day one and has
maintained the same level of enthusiasm for the sport.
Experience in racing came in the shape of trackwork and
strapping and that along with a practical interest in all equestrian
disciplines gave her a sound background in the Sport of Kings.
Jo has spent the last six years working in racing
journalism culminating in being appointed Racing Editor for the Racenet
website for three years before joining Cyberhorse in November 2004.
She is also a regular
weekly contributor to Sportsman Newspaper, Racetrack Magazine and the
NSW Racing Calendar.
An experienced
photographer, Jo has covered many sports besides racing including an
Ashes Tour of England and a Wallabies tour of the UK
Her experience in
racing extends beyond Sydney with yearly overseas trips to the Dubai
World Cup and Hong Kong Internationals over the last five years.
She won the Aushorse
Australian Thoroughbred Media Award in 2003.
