ReputableImported English stayer Reputable showed a good turn of foot over the concluding stages of the Ladies Day Plate at Caulfield, coming from near last on the turn to win by a neck.

Ridden patiently by Damien Oliver, the baldy faced Reputable charged home to beat Testalux ($21-$26)with hurdler Some Are Bent showing surprising pace to finish third after running a cheeky race.

ReputableFavourite Invincible Kindness showed he was not yet ready to take on city class by weakening to finish eighth after leading to the turn.

Formerly trained in England by Luca Cumani, when he was named Gold Option, Reputable has only been in Australia since January according to trainer Danny O'Brien.

"We've only had him for a few weeks", O'Brien said.

Reputable"He went to Colin Little first."

Reputable has now won 4 of his 12 starts, with prizemoney earnings over $82,000.

The first two of his wins were in England at Newmarket and Sandown before an unplaced run in the Group 2 Juddmonte Stakes.
