Victoria's Swettenham Stud have decided to honor the late Robert Sangster with two educational grants and/or sponsored awards for overseas thoroughbred industry work scholarships from NECC (to the Irish National Stud) and Northern Metropolitan Institute of TAFE (to the Californian National Stud).
The latest Stud newsletter reports that in this way the students selected may add something more to the industry for many years while it hopefully benefits all students at these institutions by giving them something to strive for.
