How To Use Consistency Ratings?
The Consistency Ratings display shows the career win percentage for the horse and the long term win percentage for it's trainer, jockey and sire, as well as the ranking of each for the race. Adding the percentages together gives an overall score for each horse.

For trainers, jockeys and owners, the winning percentages can be used as a guide to the best chances in each race. For punters, value bets often arise where combinations with a high strike rate come up against less consistent opposition.
Consistent winners, trained by trainers, ridden by jockeys and by sires with a high strike rate, clearly have a higher chance of winning than weaker horses. If these highly consistent combinations are backed when good odds are offered, the result can often be superior to backing favourites.
